St Patty's Day

Happy belated St. Patrick's Day! I love St. Patrick's, all the green clothes and food, yummy corned beef and cabbage and not to mention the little leprechaun that stops by and leaves candy in our shoes :)
Daddy took one for the team and ate Tessa's candy bar :) I love how it's bigger than her shoe haha.
Here is Tessa all dressed up in green, her headband was too tight so we had to find a different one that fit. Doesn't she look like a little leprechaun with pointy ears?? I swear her ears aren't pointy, the headband was pushing then forward.

She did NOT like the second option of a flower headband.
So we settled on this green one.
Dublin cheesin' it up for the camera.
The outfit she's wearing is the same on Dublin wore for his first St. Patrick's day :) So Steven made fun of her for wearing boys clothes.

He was done with pictures and she looked freaked out haha.
It was so beautiful outside so we packed up everything we needed and headed out to play in the front yard.

Daddy made a clover for Tessa and Dublin.
She brought it straight to her mouth and licked it.
Dublin loved it!!

After we played we went inside and had our traditional corned beef and cabbage with potatoes and green sprite :) I love our family traditions!!

So stinkin' cute!!

I don't have anything to talk about in this post, we didn't do anything exciting today, just cleaned house and played with the kiddos. Tessa was looking extremely cute today in her tutu so I thought I would take some pictures.
Steven seems to think she is going to grow up and hate pink and frills because that's all I like to dress her in, I on the other hand think she will grow to be a girly girl and thank me for dressing her so cute :)

Thanks for the onsie Aunt Courtney!! She looks adorable in it!

She seems so sad here like she's missing something...
Oh that's right her big ol' flower headband!!
Much better!!
I love the giraffe :)

starting to feel like spring...

Spring is in the air! Our grass is turning green again and the flowers are all blooming. The weather has been surprisingly nice here the last few days, Dublin really enjoys the warmer weather because he gets to go outside and play until it gets cold or dark.
He LOVES to use his sidewalk chalk, I bought him the huge pack of like every color known to man, and he draws up and down both side of the car :) His daddy just loves coming home and finding new drawings everyday haha.
Tessa also come out and enjoyed some sun, unfortunately after awhile the sun went down behind the house and she needed to be bundled up. She loved it though, and her daddy just cracked up laughing when he saw her laying there with her hat and sunglasses.
Also one of Dublin's favorite things to do outside...ride his bike! He is getting soooo good. I'm one proud mommy :) He actually peddles all by himself and does pretty good steering. I'm excited to start spending more time outside as a family.

playing at the park...

Last night when Steven got home from work we decided to take the kids to the park since it was beautiful outside! Poor Dublin hates to be indoors all the time but I don't want him out in the cold. He was beyond thrilled when he realized where we were going.
He LOVED the slide, the big and the small. As long as he didn't have to wait in line he was all over it! haha.
I just loved seeing him this happy.
This was my favorite picture from the park, I can't wait to take him there more as the weather warms up.

Yup that's definitly my little boy haha.
Back to the slide...again.

He had a blast on the monkey bars...with a little help from dad:)
Those few bars just wore him out so we took a break and went to the swings.
I thought he was having fun swinging with me but he was really checking out the little girl on the swing next to us!!

There's the little girl! She was so cute, he even tried holding her hand (much to the little girls dads dismay).
He liked when daddy would push him because he could go high! Mommy didn't like that very much at all.

Daddy giving him a few pointers on how to go even higher!

Such a stinkin' cutie!!!

Tessa 2 months

I can't believe its already been two months since Tessa was born!! My baby is growing so fast.
At two months Tessa weighs 9 pounds 6 ounces.
She is 21 1/2 inches long.
She wears size 1 diapers.
Still in newborn clothes (sometimes I put her in 3 months to change up her wardrobe a little but they're still way to big).
And she still wears newborn shoes.
She sleeps in the portacrib at the foot of our bed still.
She doesn't nap as much as she used to which means she is more alert during the day.
She loves having her picture taken :)
She goes thru about 10-15 diaper changes a day.
And we do a load of her laundry everyday (she has blowouts!)
