Finally!!!

One thing I love most about babies is when they suck on their toes. And guess who is finally doing it :)
Yup my little chunker!
I like when she winks at me ;)
And my silly goober got himself stuck. He was off playing and then I hear a soft cry saying "help mom" and this is what I find :)
He thought it was so funny after I started laughing at him :) What a goofball!

Spa Day

On Friday my Mom, Tessa and I had a spa day.
It was amazing! An hour long pedicure with two of my favorite people :) Tessa did amazing, she was so well behaved! Although the grumpy lady that worked there didn't think so. She told me "day spa's and babies don't mix" and the if Tessa made another noise she would need to go to the front of the shop...by herself! I'm pretty sure I would leave before banishing my 6 month old to the front of the shop by herself.
But besides Mrs Grumpy Gills we had so much fun!
I even got the cool foam slippers to leave in :)
So recently I shared my love for Matilda Jane clothing with my Mom and she loved it to so she decided to make this adorable dress for Tessa! I wish I had taken a picture of Tessa wearing it, it looks even better then. OMG I can't get over how cute it is.
On Saturday night my parents came over and we made biria for the first time! OH.MY.GOODNESS. it was good :) Then they watched Dublin and Tessa while we went to see Eclipse. Which was really good! And finally on Sunday we went to Littlerock Ward to see all our family that was in town for my cousin's farewell at church. That was a nice end to a wonderful weekend. Now one of these weekends we need to make time to go to the beach!

summertime and the livings easy...

I'm loving how relaxing this summer is :) Lots and lots of nights spent outside coloring with sidewalk chalk.
Watching this little lady grow up so fast! I swear it feels like she has always been part of our lives, definitely can't imagine my life without her.
And this little creative dude...well he would live outside if I let him. He is lovin' all the time outdoors. And has really embraced the frog boots, diaper (or undies depending on his mood) and a shirt look as his own :) First thing in the morning he wants a banana and his frog boots. He really likes dressing himself.
Oh I don't think I've ever enjoyed a summer as much as this one. Hopefully more happy summer memories to come.

sweet potatoes!

So the little miss is not a fan of the sweet potato. I'm thinking that will change when she gets older but for now...not so much.
ha ha I love that face she makes!

She would wait until I turned to get another spoonful and then would try to spit everything out! What a stinker! If she hates thesse this bad wait until she gets the peas (ewww)!

Nosey Neighbors

We are some nosey neighbors! And we're really good at it! My Grandma Challman taught me how to be good at it, she lives in a small town and has perfected the art of nosey neighbor. I to have perfected the art.
Dublin was born must have been born with the nosey gene :)
I was cleaning the house when I look out the window and I see a cop car in front of my house! I got excited in hopes that O.D. had finally done it and was going away!
But to my surprise it was little O.D.! O.D. and little O.D. are our neighborhood drug dealers...nice I know. But times are tough and if they didn't do this who would pay for the two gardeners that come every week to take care of their fake grass?? Well at least our neighborhood will be a little nicer for awhile :)

Yummy applesauce!

Tessa's first experience eating applesauce at Claim Jumper's the other night.
She may look like she likes it here...but she didn't! She gave the most sour face I've ever seen from her! Poor thing...guess we'll have to try it again later :)
My boys :) I love them.

How to Train Your Dragon...

We finally did it yesterday...we took the kids to the movies for the very first time. It was hot outside and the thought of a nice cool movie theater with popcorn and soda sounded sooo good! We took them to see How To Train Your Dragon at the dollar theater. I really didn't wanna pay to much just in case they didn't sit thru it, but they both did! And they loved it!
Our little miss chunkers was so good! We played in the arcade before it started.
Dublin did a little racing :) We don't even put money in anymore because....well...because he thinks he's racing anyways :)
We wanted to take pictures in the photo booth but couldn't figure out where to insert the money ha ha. It was hidden at the bottom of the seat, what??!! I don't know why.
So we took our own photo booth pictures with our camera :)
I love me some chunky baby girl :)
A family of four is not easy to squeeze into a small booth! But we tried.
And tried again with even less success.
I love the goofy face she was making!
Her daddy won a ball for her outta the claw machine. He was so proud of himself! He seriously tries every time we go and this was his first win :) Plus she loved it!

On our way into the movie. Next time I think we're gonna go see Toy Story 3.

more summer randomness...

While cleaning out my camera's memory card I found some pictures of more summer randomness. Nothing fancy or exciting just parts of our daily life.
My chunky monkey at her 6 month check up.
Thunder thighs! I get so many compliments on her thighs when we go places, kinda weird I know. I guess her chunky thighs are irresistible to even strangers :)
Dublin was entertaining her until the Doctor came in.
I can't believe how big he is getting! He's looks like a little man now.
We went to Apollo Park on Father's Day weekend and the boys were gonna do a little fishing...until Daddy dropped the fishing pole into the water.
Then Steven talked Randy into jumping in after it. Ewwww. He did it which I was grateful for but really?? Ewww.

The cute baby ducks that I was feeding.
Tessa was helping me feed the baby ducks.
Daddy and Dublin feeding the ducks. Dublin just loved it there!
And the Great Wall yummy! Aunt Caitlin requested The Great Wall for lunch one day and after all she does for me and the kids how could I say no? Plus they are delish!
Dublin even loves it there!
Aunt Caitlin bring adorable! Okay summer bring on more adventures we're ready for them!
