Christmas Day 2010

Christmas morning was great this year! We didn't get up to early (thank goodness!) and we were able to take our time opening gifts.
Tessa kept taking everyones candy filled canes and running away.
And she loved opening her stocking! She put just about everything in her mouth so she could taste it, even if it wasn't edible :)Checking out some of her goodies.
Playing with some of the sticky dinosaurs from his stocking...he made out with a lot of good stuff this year!
This was her first attempt at opening presents...she's a natural!!
One of her new dresses...adorable!
Daddy and some of his new clothes, he liked his new tools much better than the clothes :)

One of my favorite presents this year! I'm pretty sure we'll be trying most of these recipes!
Dublin's main gift this year. He could have cared less about it at first but once we opened it and showed him it was a game he LOVED it and has barely set it down since!!
Tessa and her tea set :) I can't wait to have tea parties with her :)
They both loved this gift of Daddy's! I'm not sure why...I think they just liked hitting the box.
She was sooo excited when she opened this one, I know she had no idea what it was but she was just really happy to have a big box to climb on :)
And then her life was changed forever! She loves her baby doll! She carries it around everywhere!
And she even gives it kisses :)
Daddy and more man gifts :)
And then my surprise present :) My new kitchen aid...it was love at first sight :) I have big plans for this and my new cookbook! Then after presents we went to my parent's house for breakfast. We had our traditional Christmas quiche, Cinnamon rolls and orange rolls...so yummy!!
For Christmas dinner we have Steve's parents over and I made Ham, garlic mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, stuffed mushrooms, stuffing, rolls and sparkling cider. It was amazing!! As you can tell by Tessa's face after she finished eating :)
Playing his new Elmo game.
And he loves his new slippers! He counts down and then he blast off running everywhere really fast ha ha! I guess he knows what rockets do huh?
The aftermath...
it's madness around here!
I'm surprised I was able to crawl out from under all this mess to blog about this!

He loves his new Tonka trucks and hat!

She loves boy toys too :)

Playing with her new babies :)

Tessa loves trying to climb into Dublin's Tonka truck ha ha. Well I guess I'd better start cleaning up the mess that was Christmas :/ Wish me luck!

Christmas Eve 2010

This year we spent Christmas Eve with my family. We had a nice dinner and opened presents. Dublin took advantage of all the people and put them to work spinning him on the office chair :)
Miss Tessa and her baby bottle pop that she carried around almost the whole time ha!

Getting ready for dinner...yummy!!

After dinner Dublin and Landon played games on our phones. It is amazing how smart and tech swavy little kids are!
Tessa checking out Landon's gift.
Opening their gift from Aunt Courtney and Uncle Jer.

And opening her gift from Grandma and Grandpa.
Tessa and her new jammies.
And we left some cookies and milk out for Santa. Cookie decorations courtesy of Dublin :) I'll admit that I had a very hard time getting rid of them after Santa took a bite.

Reindeer food...

I know this is way late...but better late than never :)
I tried so hard to get a good picture of both the kids by the tree this year. No such luck :(

Dublin was willing to amuse me (thank you my first born :) ) but Tessa not so much.
She was a baby on a mission. And that mission was to get away from me and my camera.

Me and Dublin. (He saw this (ugly) frame and requested I use it, so this is for you sweetheart!)
She didn't see me sneak up on her while playing with presents. So this was the best picture I could get of her.
We made up some goodie plates for friends and family.

We put out reindeer food on Christmas Eve so that Santa and his reindeer would stop by our house :)

Thanks again for the reindeer food Jackie!

Yup I think that looks good enough to get some reindeer over here :)
