Entry Closet

The other day as I was getting ready to take Dublin to preschool I was attacked by all the junk in the entry way closet and decided something had to be done. So after dropping him off, Tessa and went to Lowe's.
It's really hard to see here but I repainted the whole closet Olympic Willow Springs. It's such a nice soft neutral color.

And finally for the stripes I used Olympic Gray Ghost.

I love the way it turned out! Unfortunately I still have some more work to do to make the most of the small space but it still makes me happy :)

life at the McClure home

Life around here pretty much consist of me and a paintbrush.
We're (really that means me and the occasional help from Steve) finally getting all of our little house projects done! It feels amazing to fix up the house (especially because I spend most of my time here). In fact I'm pretty sure the employees at Lowe's know me by now. I've spent more time in there the last few weeks then I ever have!

And because I've been so busy with all my projects my poor kids have to entertain themselves.

I love watching them together! They have the best sibling relationship! I really hope that it stays like this even when they're older.

Dublin's Super Party!!

This year Dublin begged me to let him have a Superhero themed birthday party. He couldn't pick just one Superhero either, so just meshed them all together into one party. I love how cute it turned out! And he had so much fun with all of his friends :)
Waiting for pizza.

Taking turns hitting the pinata.

Tess taking her turn with Spiderman :)

And I'm not really sure how it happened but I didn't manage to get one picture of the kids in the Batman bouncer. Oh well...

The yummy cupcakes.

And finally gift time. Dublin lucked out this year and got some pretty sweet stuff!

The Spiderman web slinger that Grandma and Grandpa Challman got him is a favorite around here. Both Dublin and Tessa go crazy for it. I'm thinking we may have to buy another one, just so they don't fight over it.

I LOVE how the kids get closer and closer with each gift opened :) So cute!!

And all of the Superhero boys!

And of course Super Tessa :)

It was such a fun party. Thank you to everyone who was able to come and celebrate with us!

Tessa's 2nd birthday

As usual I'm more than a month behind on blogging about our daily happenings...but I'm over it. Better late than never.

She always has to lick the frosting first to make sure she likes it before she actually eat the cupcake :)
