Feline Compound

A few weeks ago Steve had the day off and we decided to take the kids back to the feline compound, because they loved it so much.
He loved making the big cat growl.

Checkin' out the pretty peacocks.

It was pretty much impossible to keep Tessa off the gate.

The cat that freaked Dublin out. For whatever reason this cat did not like Dublin either time we were there.

She just has to touch everything :)

It kinda looks like she's licking the pole here but that's not the case. She was being silly and teasing her Daddy.

Poor Dublin just couldn't sit on the tiger, he kept sliding right off ha ha.

Such a cutie.

Goodbye big cats! I'm sure we'll be back soon to see you.

Fun at the park

We love having friends that want to do random play dates at the park on beautiful days :)

After Tessa fell face first off the big kids slide Dublin played on the small play set for awhile with her :) Such a good big brother!

She is so cute even when she's covered with pizza sauce and sand :)

Love this picture!

She would only go down this big slide again if I was at the bottom to catch her...

and she would only go down like this ha ha.

He is such a cutie. And I love the random girl in the background ha ha.

I'm most definitely looking forward to more park play dates this year :)

St Patrick's Day 2012

St Patrick's Day this year was a big fat fail on my part. I've been so busy lately that I completely forgot about it until the day of! So since the kids really didn't know the difference we actually celebrated the day after. I know I'm not winning mother of the year anytime soon.
Anyways this year the kids helped make a trap for the leprechaun, it turned out so cute! And next year I'll have to try and remember further in advance :)

My trouble child...

(I found her pants less in her crib all kicked backed with her legs crossed playing her brothers DS. She always knows how to get into trouble.)

More than anything in the world I love my sweet Tessa. That being said she has hit her terrible two's. Dublin never really went through his terrible two's and I think she is making up for it. The other thing I worry about with her is her sass! I should have named her Miss Sassy Pants! So if anyone knows how to speed up or completely skip the terrible two's I'm all ears :)

R is for Rainbows and Robots

For the letter R we made our own rain.

We made rainbows.

We also ate a lot of rainbows :)

And finally we made Robots.

Clearly they were done with pictures by now :)

Entry Closet

The other day as I was getting ready to take Dublin to preschool I was attacked by all the junk in the entry way closet and decided something had to be done. So after dropping him off, Tessa and went to Lowe's.
It's really hard to see here but I repainted the whole closet Olympic Willow Springs. It's such a nice soft neutral color.

And finally for the stripes I used Olympic Gray Ghost.

I love the way it turned out! Unfortunately I still have some more work to do to make the most of the small space but it still makes me happy :)

life at the McClure home

Life around here pretty much consist of me and a paintbrush.
We're (really that means me and the occasional help from Steve) finally getting all of our little house projects done! It feels amazing to fix up the house (especially because I spend most of my time here). In fact I'm pretty sure the employees at Lowe's know me by now. I've spent more time in there the last few weeks then I ever have!

And because I've been so busy with all my projects my poor kids have to entertain themselves.

I love watching them together! They have the best sibling relationship! I really hope that it stays like this even when they're older.
