She's growing up so fast!

Tessa looks so grown up today! It's really sad :( I guess skinny jeans and red Maryjane's make you look older than you really are.

On a different note poor Tessa is recovering from a run in with the slider glass door. It's kinda hard to tell from the picture but she has a bruised forehead and a small black eye. Apparently she tried fallowing Daddy and Dublin out back yesterday and Dublin accidentally shut the slider on her face. After lots of love, kisses and baby Tylenol she seems to be doing just fine!
The morale of today's post is don't dress your baby in skinny jeans unless you want them to grow up way to fast!

Our week so far...

So far this week we've attended a vow renewal for Steve's Grandparents. Or as I heard someone call it once a vowel renewal :)
Half of the place was decorated for a wedding and half was decorated for a Halloween party :) It was really funny to see pumpkins, ghost, spiders and witches mixed in with all the wedding decor!
Since the renewal ceremony started right after church we went straight there which meant no nap for the kids. And kids with no nap equals one grumpy family. Luckily letting Dublin take pictures of everything calmed him down :)

Tessa and her great Grandma McClure.
Then we were graced with a perfect day! Rain, thunder and lightning! Oh it was W.O.N.D.E.R.F.U.L!! Dublin was freaking out! He loved it and every time he passed the window he was reminded it was raining outside and made sure that Tessa and I came to look :)
While waiting for the rain to stop we painted faces and played games. As of right now Dublin's favorite games are Memory and Bingo. Seriously we play bingo every night.
After finally it calmed down enough to head outside we took a walk and jumped in puddles :)
Tessa even got to wear her rain boots :)
And she rocked them! I swear this girl can't help but look adorable :)

We were kinda bummed that we never saw a rainbow. Oh well there's always next time.
(Um how old does my little lady look here??)
And then on Wednesday Aunt Caitlin came over to play with the munchkins. We hung out, talked girl talk and dyed my hair :)
Can't wait to see what the rest of the week has in store for us :)

Happy Birthday Daddy!

This is a little late but better a little late than never. Dublin got a call from his Papa telling him he missed him so we decided that on Papa's birthday we would go over to spend some time with the family. Dublin was definitely in need of some Papa time.
And Tessa always loves some family lovin'.
Dublin helped Papa work in the front yard and take care of the dogs.
He just loves to fallow Papa around where ever he goes :)

Unfortunately we didn't get to stay too long since we had stuff to do and they were going out to dinner. So they loved on my babies and we said our goodbyes.

Happy Birthday Daddy! We love you and hope you had an amazing birthday!

Tessa at 9 months

Tessa was clearly not happy when we started taking her picture. What happened to the days where she never cried??

But as soon as I took her out of her crib she was just fine! And my happy little lady came back to me :)

I LOVE that she sucks on her tongue like this all the time! Ha ha it's hilarious!

Tessa at 9 months:
  • you weigh 20 lbs and 6 oz
  • you're 27 1/2 inches long
  • you eat like it's going outta style! you love table food more than anything else. I've found that the only thing you don't like so far is ground beef.
  • you still have NO teeth...crazy I know. But you manage to eat everything just fine.
  • you love gerber puffs
  • you love to beat up on the cats
  • you crawl everywhere! and get into everything!
  • you can walk along the furniture be yourself
  • you pull yourself up on everything
  • you play so well with your brother, it's the sweetest thing every!
  • you've started cutting your naps down to 1 hour each. Now you nap twice a day for 1 hour each.
  • you still wake up once or twice a night to nurse
  • and you're an early riser (not like your mom)
  • you wake up soooo happy in the mornings but soooo grumpy from naps ha ha
  • you wear size 9-12 month clothing
  • size 2 shoe
  • and you still wear headbands with everything! People have told me they're so used to seeing you with a headband that you look different without one. And I have to agree. most of all you're the most amazing daughter I could ever ask for! We love you Tessa!

Pumpkin patch...

One more thing I love about fall...the pumpkin patches! I get so excited when I see them starting to pop up around town.

This was Tessa's first time to a pumpkin patch and I was definitely way more excited than she was. She really could have cared less that we were there.

She got really upset with us when we put her down next to a pumpkin! So that didn't happen again while we were there.
Holy moly that is a HUGE stem!

Taking in all the amazing views aka trying to decide what ride he wanted to ride first :)
Ha ha Dublin's face cracks me up in this picture! He was watching the bouncy house like it was gonna disappear if he looked away and when we told him to smile he gave us this creepy smile :)
This was the best I could get from him.
Daddy and his munchkins :)
Daddy and his little lady.
I love this one! It's one of my all time favorites of my loves.

FINALLY he got to go to the bouncy house!

Tessa hated the bouncy house...really she cried.
The best part of the night was when the sun started setting and the lights came on :) It is just way to cute :)

Saying goodbye to his bouncy house...until next year at least!
