Ventura Beach day

 Steve had the day off so we decided to take a quick day trip to Venture and spend the day at the beach.

 Along the way we decided to stop in Fillmore so the kids could stretch their legs, eat lunch and see the trains.

 Clearly Tessa was not happy she had to take a picture with me :(

 After we finally made it to Venture harbor we walked around and took pictures.

 We checked out all the big boats

 We played in the huge arcade and rode the carousel.

 Once we played and bought some yummy (but expensive) fudge, we finally made our way to the actual beach! 

 After all the fun of jumping over waves and building sand castles, Tessa just had to take a quick rest ;)

 After a few failed sand castles we decided it was just better to bury the kids in the sand lol ;)

 Tessa wasn't to crazy about her brother being buried in the sand so she started digging him out lol.

And we made a pretty little mermaid before we left :)
