Steve decided to take Friday off so we could spend some quality time together as a family so we packed up the kids and headed to the Zoo. By the time we got to the Zoo Dublin was covered from his breakfast of powder donuts and chocolate milk. I blame his Dad for that one!
Getting ready to go in.
Getting ready to go in.
Me and my honey.
Miss Tessa :)
If you look really close you can see her tooth on top! Yup that's right my baby is officially part of the people with teeth club :) Within one week three teeth popped out!!! Those were some long nights! And days for that matter :/ And she has one more that looks like it should be out by morning...oh I can't wait for teething to be done with!
Visiting Reggie the alligator. Dublin just loves alligators!
Squirrel!!! If you ask Dublin what sound a squirrel makes he says "I like nuts!" in a high pitched squirrel like voice. It's hilarious to say the least!
The super stinky flamingos.
And this time we got to visit the new elephant exhibit. It was really nice except the still had the elephants locked up so we didn't get to see them close up :(
We did however get to see lots of butts! I know the picture looks horrible but it's a black bear with his butt to us.
And a rhino butt.
Steve, Dublin and a rhino butt :)
That's a HUGE hippo!
The only picture I took of the elephant. His cage is like half of the zoo so it took forever to get a good picture of him!
Tessa pointing at...
you guessed it a monkey butt!
Dublin and I renamed the giraffes. This is Melman.
This is Geoffery. Those are the only two giraffe names we know so the baby giraffe is named just that baby giraffe.
It made me happy that this was the first place he wanted to go see when we got there :)
Oh I just can't get over how cute she is!!
Dublin was taking some pictures of us :)
More of his handy work :)
The zebras were fighting! It was kinda sad but my boys thought it was hilarious to watch.
This "cat" was so pissed off! The growls that were coming out of him were scary! I would never want to run into one of those in the wild!
I can't WAIT to go to the Zoo this summer.
ReplyDeleteAlso I love Dublin as a name!
