Our Father's Day

Happy Father's day to an amazing husband and an awesome father to our children!

I made everyone take a few pictures before church today and once again it was like pulling teeth. After awhile all I could get was a picture where Dublin had a goofy look on his face (for an example see picture above). I was getting so frustrated at the time but now that I look back I can't help but laugh. That totally is my family...goofy people. So why not show it in our pictures right?

After church we gave Steve his cards and gift. The kids got him a recordable book. It was so cute! And Steve loved listening to all of Dublin's silly answers to the questions.

She was upset tat she didn't get to push the button (it was nap time).

Because Daddy is TIE-riffic!! ;)

And finally to end the night we had Steve's favorite dinner. A real man's meal, steak, potatoes and asparagus. It was so yummy!

Happy Father's Day to my loving husband and the wonderful Father of my children.

Happy Father's Day Daddy!

Happy Father's Dad to the most amazing Dad ever!

Thank you for all your love and support and for everything that you do for me and my family.
Also thank you for being an amazing Grandpa to my kids!

Picnic in the Park

Our Friday nights used to be for dates, now they're family dates. But finding something that will entertain all of us without costing an arm and a leg is not easy. So we use that time to take the kids to the park, because who doesn't love a picnic at the park?
Unfortunately we forgot that softball season just started...which means that EVERY park is packed with people. So we went to Marie Kerr park and nearly blew away! It was so windy over there!! Seriously our food would slowly but surely slid to the other end of the table if you didn't hold it down.

Running off some of that crazy energy!

Dublin snuggled his butt up right into Daddy's face :)

Sad to say that this was one of the best pictures I could get of the family. All three of them did not want their picture taken.

Rolling down the hill :)

ha ha I love this face that she makes :)

A few things I learned from this experience.

1. don't go to a windy area of town and expect it not to be windy.

2. always bring a hairband to the windy side of town.

3. don't get your hopes up that you can get some cute pictures of your family when the three of them aren't in the mood to have their picture taken. they will all work against you until you put the camera away.

Saturday Morning Cartoons...

he just loves his cartoons :)

Why didn't they have these when I was a kid??

Poprocks that you eat with a glow in the dark sucker?! Whoever thought of that is amazing!

Probably not the best idea to give kids candy right before bed but you only live once right?

The green one I bought for Dublin was already broken when we opened it, lame I know, but Tessa was more than willing to share her's with him :)

Dublin insisted that I take a picture of his footprint! He, for some reason, thought it was the coolest thing ever ha!

Looking for more wet footprints :)
