Pumpkin carving time...

tonight we carved most of our pumpkins, we still need to carve Steve's BIG pumpkin. We let Dublin pick out what design he wanted for his pumpkin and it took him forrreeevvveerr! Then when he finally picked one it was a crazy hard one so Steve told him to pick again ha!
After that he changed his mind about 8 times before finally settling on a monster.
He loved playing with the pumpkin!

And so did Tessa :) She really loved her pumpkin!
It was the perfect size for her to throw around. She would get so excited and send it rolling across the kitchen floor and then take off after it :)
But mainly I think she liked it because she liked eating it...and I let her. I figured Dublin did the same thing last year and he turned out fine :)
It was hilarious to watch Dublin feeding his baby sister the lid of his pumpkin!
Tessa's traditional pumpkin. When she's older she can pick out whatever design she wants but for now she gets a jack-o-lantern.

My little baby boy isn't looking like a little baby boy anymore :( It's really hard to see how much he has grown lately.
Tessa eating even more pumpkin. Steve cut off a little chunk for her.

All done! Mine is the bats and the crescent moon. The bat broke so we had to get ghetto and use toothpicks. Desperate times call for desperate measures :) And introducing Dublin's monster pumpkin!! Didn't it turn out cute??!!
Tessa's pumpkin definitely looked the best all lit up! It was really glowing!
And a close up of Dublin scary monster pumpkin :)

Lombardi Ranch!

Today we went to Lombardi Ranch! Oh we love that place! We've gone since we were little and now we get to take our little kids :) I love passing on traditions like this! We decided to grab something to eat before going to the pumpkin patch.

Cheesin' it up with Aubrey.

We went to Oggi's pizza, it was really good even Dublin and Tessa liked it. Side note: it's hilarious to watch Tessa eat table food without teeth.
And for as many years as we've been coming here we experienced a first today...the weather was perfect! It's usually so stinkin' hot but today was great, it was nice and cool.
It was kinda crazy when we walked in because they totally switched thing around this year and added a ton of new attractions. I guess they had to since this place has become soo popular! There are more and more people every year, and this year was no exception. Unfortunately Caitlin just had her wisdom teeth removed and was in to much pain to come with us. Caitlin you were missed.
Aubrey, Landon and Dublin.
I had to hold him down for a picture. He was ready to run and play not take pictures.

Grandma and Tessa.
Aubrey and her corn on the cob. Actually I think that was Courtney's corn on the cob and Aubrey snaked it when Courtney took Landon to the bathroom. Sneaky sneaky Aubs.

As soon as Dublin saw the hay tower he took off and was up at the top before I could get my camera out!

Grandpa and the boys :)

What a cute little family :)
I love these pictures of us.
Daddy and Dublin.
All my boys hanging out.
Me and my little chunker. She looked so cute today it was ridiculous ha ha.
I loved the pouty face she made here. That really shows off her attitude!
But then Grandma gave her some baby pumpkins to play with and everything changed!
She was in love! In pumpkin love that is.

I guess all it takes to win over this little lady's heart is a few baby pumpkins ha ha. Good job Grandma!
Landon Bug lookin' super festive in his little monster sweater. I swear this is the only look he gives me, I'm not sure if he likes when I take his picture.
Waiting to ride the train. As soon as the boys saw the train it was all over, they just had to ride it. So Papa and Aubrey took them on, and since it cost $4 a person to ride around in a big circle I elected not to ride with them. So Aubs thanks for getting some pictures for me!

And from what Dublin told me after the ride he loved it! And I'm sure he would have ridden it all day if they/we let him.
Um yeah he was less than thrilled to hold the happy halloween sign. Can you tell??
Tessa however was really happy because she tried to eat it. Ugh she tries to eat everything.
Dublin was definitely much happier when they were both in the picture together!
Dublin and I went to get his face painted until I realized there were about 25 kids in front of him! Holy moly I was not going to wait an hour for him to get a ghost on his face...next year I'll paint his face before we go.
I think the picture says it all.
This ones for you mom!
Here were some of our favorite scarecrows. Guess you can't go wrong with A nightmare before Christmas.

A crow "fly in" movie theater!
Mom and I are totally making these next year! Aren't they super cute??
She was happy as long as she had her sippy cup :)
Steve loved the ogre snot...gross I know.

Dublin learned how to turn his daddy into a monkey :)
Take one! No bueno.
Take two! Much better.

Poor Tessa was so beyond tired at this point!
Aww I love when she cuddles with me like this! Caitlin and Shanade we all wish you were there today! See you in 2011 Lombardi Ranch!
