I'm Brittany. I'm lucky enough to get to stay home and chase my little ones all day! And I wouldn't have it anyother way. I'm happily married to my wonderful husband Steven, we've been married for 7 years and are looking forward to the next 50 together. I'm also a snack carrying, story reading, booboo kisser for two of the most amazing kids ever!! Dublin is 6, and the worlds best big brother! He is the sweetest little boy with the biggest heart. And then there is baby Tessa, our little lovebug. She is 4 years old and our little adorable princess.
Getting everything set up. It was so easy this year since we didn't have a super large group. I can't wait until we all get to go down together again.
It was so nice and quiet there since it's considered "off" season. But September is a way better time to go, it's less crowded, less money and the weather is so much cooler! So August you're out and September you're in!
Our traditional foil dinners on the first night.
The first night we decided to go walk around the Temple grounds, it was really pretty but really cold so we didn't stay to long.
Roasting marshmallows for smores. I love Dublin's face in this picture! It cracks me up!
Our finished product. Soooo yummy!!!
I'm pretty sure Dublin like roasting marshmallows better with his Daddy because they would catch them on fire and then blow it out.
Nap time :)
Lunch time. I can't help but to associate pepper bellies with camping :)
And the new and improved park! They torn down all the old cheap stuff and put in this huge play set. It's like the Cadillac of play sets, seriously it's nice.
And of course we ran into Aubrey at the park...because I'm pretty sure she lives there when were down there.
I was spying on Steve and Tessa :) This telescope can see super far!
Dublin and his new friends. This little boy always wanted to "catch" Dublin after he would slide down. It was really cute :)Playin' a mean game of Mexican Train Dominoes.
Me and my little lady :)
My little stud muffin!
Giving his baby sister some love.
And then we surprised Steve for his birthday! It was not easy to get him away from camp so we could decorate but we somehow managed to get it all done.
Blowing out his swiss roll birthday "cake".
Opening presents.
Pretending to be surprised with his new watch.
The colorful camp fire.
The traditional family picture on the swing :)
And then right before we left we surprised him again and ambushed him with silly string.
And somehow in all the chaos mom was sprayed (I think it was me that did it :))
Fun! One of these days we'll make it down there again.
ReplyDeleteOh! I just LOVE San Diego!! Seriously, it just keeps getting better and better!
