Viva Las Vegas!!

We decide that since we were going through Vegas anyways on our way to Utah we would stay the night and walk the strip with the kids. One of our first stops was in Baker to use the bathrooms and Dublin just had to get something outta the quarter machines, lucky us we got a silly mustache. We all had to take turns trying it on.
It tickled Dublin too much so he didn't really wanna wear it. Tessa looked hilarious! But she hated it too! My poor kids are going to grow up and remember I used to make them wear fake mustaches :/
Steve told me never to grow a mustache or he'd leave me ha!

And finally we saw Vegas! This was a much welcomed sight because Dublin was getting grumpy! Which is why originally I told Steve we need to leave early. We should have left at 3 which got pushed back to 6 which then turned into 7 and finally at 8:30 we left home. Whatever. It's so crazy to see how much it keeps growing! Every time we go through it gets bigger and bigger.
One thing on my live list was to take a picture of us in front of the Vegas sign. Check! Dublin loved that it was right next to the airport. He kept watching airplanes take off and land :)

Then we went to Panda Express for lunch before going to the hotel.
We stayed at the Luxor again. I love this place! Seriously who wouldn't want to stay in a pyramid??

Our room was on the 22nd floor looking right out the front of the Luxor onto the strip, and the airport which Dublin's favorite part :)
The heavenly beds...we enjoyed them since we knew the rest of the week we'd be on torture racks (grandma's guest bed) and an air mattress.

Headed out to look at all the lights.
And as soon as we were out on the strip it started to sprinkle. Yup we felt like crappy parents with our kids out in the rain. Surprisingly there were a lot of people with kids outside. So we went indoors until it stopped sprinkling.

Climbing the fence to get a better look at everything.
The Pepsi sign :)

In the Coca Cola store you can buy these sodas from around the world and try them. Sounds fun right? It was fun to try but the sodas were soo gross!
We all took small sips and by the time we tried them all we had horrible headaches.
And it seems like everyone else trying them thought the same thing since all the glasses we returned almost completely full ha!
Me and my stud :)
And before we left we took a picture with the Coca Cola bear. The kids thought it was so creepy! Dublin wouldn't stopped watching it and I had to hold him down for the picture because he was trying to get away from the thing. ha ha the things I do to my poor kids :)
However he LOVED seeing Buzz!
They have some cool characters on the strip that you can take your picture with, and then they have cotton candy. Cotton Candy was a big black man in pink lingerie telling everyone how pretty he was, it was creepy and something I wish I could burn from our minds.
Playing with all the cool stuff in the M&M store, but seriously who buys that crap? Why would I want a house full of junk with M&M's on it?

And Tessa who seems to fall in love with anything that is stuffed.
We went to the MGM Grand and say the lions being fed. The people fed them right outta their hands! Craziness.
Then it was off to dinner at the Rainforest Cafe, another check off my live list.
Steve was sacraficing our firstborn to the big snake :)
It's amazing that every fish in this tank was named Nemo or Dory ;) Or atleast that's what Dublin told us.

Hanging out with a gorilla while waiting for a table.
Um...can I get a crazy half giraffe chair for my house??
It was so cool in there! Dublin loved and hated when the rainstorms would start.
After eating we went into the store to look around and Dublin found a white snake! Needless to say we ended up buying it.
More views on our way back to the room.
Playing with all of his new little critters.
Goodbye Luxor I'm sure we'll see you again.
And goodbye Vegas! We were on to bigger and better places! Next stop Utah!
